This year's Ceilidh on Friday 12th January was another succesful evening of music and dance in Blairgowrie Town Hall. Thanks to everyone who helped to make the evening so special. Nicol McLaren kept feet tapping with his fantastic music and Tracey Thom led the ceilidh dancing. Jeff Bruar recited his amusing monologues and the Blair Bells played a selection of Scottish tunes. Members of our support group provided a delicious buffet and decorated the Hall. Local businesses supported us with raffle prizes. The evening with raffle and donations raised £2,775.04 for Mary's Meals.
The Texas Scramble on Friday 10th May was blessed with a beautiful day and, even though there was a small field, enthusiasically supported by players, helpers and sponsers alike. Thanks to Scotscraig Golf Club, Alyth Golf Club, Strathmore Golf Club, Victor and Sons Blairgowrie, The Red House Coupar Angus and Tesco Blairgowrie for their generous donations. Thanks also to members of our support group and some Alyth members for helping to run the competition and of course to the players who took part. The event raised £1,032 for Mary's Meals.
